Latest Updates from Our Project:

Console possibilities?
about 7 years ago – Sat, Mar 04, 2017 at 03:54:14 AM

As many fans of A Clockwork Ley-Line know there's a console release of the series in Japan.

We're currently in the early stages of talks on bringing it over to western shores.

However we want to be as clear as we can, it is not guaranteed that we can bring this to the West.

We want to make sure our team is 100% focused on QAing our current titles in production for console before we start bringing over new titles. We hope to be able to bring you good news in the future!

Stretch Goal Update!
about 7 years ago – Sun, Feb 26, 2017 at 08:13:48 PM

Hello, our dearest backers! Thank you all once again for all your support to make this amazing release become a reality.

Thanks to your help, we've unlocked the art book stretch goal! Any backers at the $99 tier or higher will get a digital copy of the art book for free. Anyone can add $35 + $5 for shipping for the physical version of the art book.

In addition to the art book, we bring news of a new stretch goal!

A Clockwork Ley-Line: The Forest of Unfolding Fates
A Clockwork Ley-Line: The Forest of Unfolding Fates

This is the tale of two girls in a faraway place. There once was a village girl named Maisa who possessed unusual powers. She was ostracized by the other villagers and was left to fend for herself. Though she lived a quiet life in solitude, the people feared her and decided to drive her out.

Thus, Maisa was exiled to Libra Forest, a place shrouded in deep fog. The rumors were that it was home to witches and that anyone who was sent there would disappear forever. However, while Maisa wandered in the forest overcome by despair, the figure who appeared before her was a gentle, smiling girl. She led her through the fog, to a large mansion inhabited by those who had been sent to the forest. The girl, whose name was Rinko, took Maisa's hand and whispered in her ear: "This is the place where you belong."

This is a story that took place long, long ago, before Libra Lapis Lazuli Academy came to be. The fates of the two girls in the forest are set into motion...

The light novel “A Clockwork Ley-Line: The Forest of Unfolding Fates” was written by Ichikawa Tamaki, scenario writer of A Clockwork Ley-Line, whose work is also seen in the Nanatsuiro Drops light novel. The illustrations are done by Noizi Ito, who has done art for UnisonShift games Wasurenagusa Forget-Me-Not, Nanatsuiro Drops, Alice Parade, the young-adult novel series Shakugan no Shana and Suzumiya Haruhi, which were both adapted into hit anime series. Both Ichikawa Tamaki and Noizi Ito also worked on Flyable Heart.

This light novel stretch goal will unlock once we reach $105,000! Let's make it happen!

Fully Funded + FAQ Update
about 7 years ago – Sat, Feb 18, 2017 at 10:20:40 PM

We're fully funded thanks to backers like you!

This will allow us to create a very limited set of physical copies for you to enjoy.

There have been quite a few questions that have come to us, and we'd like to take the time now to address them:

What is the release schedule?

We plan to release A Clockwork Ley-Line: The Borderline of Dusk in Spring, A Clockwork Ley-Line: Daybreak of Remnants Shadow in Summer, and A Clockwork Ley-Line: Flowers Falling in the Morning Mist in Winter. Physical versions will be made in one large batch at the end once all 3 games are done. Please keep in mind during production the schedule might change. We keep a translation tracker that is updated daily which you can view!

What about mosaics?

While mosaics could not be removed, nothing has been cut from the version of the games we're currently funding and they are presented as they were intended.

Who's translating?

We're working with the original fan translation group for all 3 games and, if the stretch goal is hit, for the artbook as well.

Can we get an all-ages physical version?

We will setup a poll in BackerKit after the campaign is over to see if there is interest. If there is enough for a minimum order we will make an all-ages physical version as well.

Is the shikishi printed or hand drawn?

It is printed, however the artwork might be exclusive to the campaign. We're still working out the details.

Will the physical version require a patch to unlock all content?

No, it'll be the complete version.

Can I pledge for the artbook separately?

Not at this time, however we will talk to the developers about it.

Will you be releasing the console versions or bringing over any of the content from the console versions?

At this time, we are focusing on fulfilling our previous console campaign promises before taking on any new console-related projects.

What do you mean Steam/Denpasoft/Nutaku versions?

It means you'll get a copy on Steam, Denpasoft, and Nutaku.

What about PayPal support?

We will talk to the developer about setting up a slacker backer campaign just like NEKOPARA to enable PayPal support.

If there's any other questions please post or let us know! Also, it's raining quite heavily down in SoCal this weekend so our responses might be delayed....something to do with flash flood warnings, yikes!
